PUBLIC ART
BUTTE - SILVER BOW

Public art transforms spaces into gathering places. It sparks conversation, celebrates our identity, and reminds us that culture isn't something we preserve behind glass. It's something we live with, walk past, and share with our neighbors every day.
The Butte-Silver Bow Public Art Committee was established in 2025 by Chief Executive J.P. Gallagher in response to the voices of Butte residents who recognized that a community as rich in history as ours deserves equally vibrant public art.

Butte carries a profound responsibility to honor its past while building the future. Our architecture tells stories of ambition and resilience. Through public art, we continue that legacy, creating new landmarks that reflect who we are today and inspire who we will become tomorrow.
